6520 polyester film insulating paper is composed of polyester film and insulating paper. Polyester film has excellent electrical insulation and mechanical properties, while insulating paper provides good flexibility and hygroscopicity. When combined, the two have a variety of excellent properties.

Performance characteristics

-Electrical properties
It has high insulation resistance, which can effectively prevent current leakage and ensure the safe operation of electrical equipment.
It has high dielectric strength and can withstand higher voltages without being broken down. It is suitable for medium and high voltage electrical equipment. For example, in an environment of about 130°C, its breakdown voltage can still be maintained at a certain level.


-Mechanical properties
The tensile strength is good, and both longitudinal and transverse tensile strength can meet certain industrial requirements. The longitudinal tensile strength can reach a high value when not bent, and it can maintain a certain strength after bending; the transverse tensile strength also performs well.

The elongation is moderate and a certain elongation can be maintained after bending, which prevents the material from easily breaking when deformed by a certain external force.

-Thermal properties
It has certain heat resistance and can work normally within a certain temperature range. For example, if it is kept at 130±2°C for 10 minutes, its thermal adhesion will show no delamination, no blistering, and no glue flow.
