Question | Answer |
What type of material do you use for transformer cores? | We use high-permeability Cold Rolled Grain Oriented Silicon Steel (CRGO), such as 30Q120 or 23QG100. Non-crystalline and nano-crystalline alloys are also available upon request. |
Can you customize the core structure and dimensions? | Yes, we offer OEM customization. We can manufacture EI-type, C-type, wound or laminated cores according to your drawings, voltage level, and transformer design. |
Are the cores stress-relieved or annealed? | Yes, all cores are fully annealed to eliminate cutting stress and improve magnetic performance, which helps reduce core loss. |
What is the typical no-load loss of your transformer cores? | Our CRGO transformer cores typically achieve no-load losses below 1.1 W/kg. Specific data will vary depending on material grade and structure design. |
Do you provide third-party inspection reports? | Yes. We can provide reports from SGS, BV, or other labs upon request. We also offer internal quality certificates for dimension, loss, and insulation. |
What voltage range are your cores suitable for? | Our cores are applicable to oil-immersed transformers from 10kV up to 110kV. Please share your design requirements for recommendations. |
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)? | For standard sizes, small trial orders are acceptable. For custom cores, the MOQ is typically 1 ton or 1 complete core set. |
What is your typical lead time? | For standard cores: 7–10 days. For custom designs: 15–20 days depending on complexity and quantity. |
Do you provide export packaging? | Yes. Our export packages include anti-rust oiling, shrink-wrapping, anti-vibration padding, and fumigation-free wooden crates or pallets. |
Do you have experience working with overseas customers? | Yes. We have exported to customers in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South America, and Africa. Customer references are available upon request. |
