- Material

- Structural Form
- The core is generally divided into two structural forms: core - type and shell - type. In the core - type core, the windings surround the core, while in the shell - type core, the core surrounds the windings. Among oil - immersed transformers, the core - type structure is more common.
- The core consists of core limbs and yokes. The core limbs are the parts where the windings are installed, and the yokes are the parts that connect the core limbs to form a closed magnetic circuit.
