Transformer epoxy resin insulator is a key insulating component used in transformers. Its main function is to provide electrical insulation, support the conductive parts of the transformer, and ensure the safe and stable operation of the transformer. It is made of epoxy resin material and has excellent electrical properties, mechanical strength, temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. Conductor:
Typically made of high-conductivity copper or aluminum, the conductor offers excellent electrical conductivity to carry the rated current, ensuring efficient power transmission. Its surface undergoes specialized treatment to reduce resistance and minimize eddy current losses, further enhancing transmission efficiency.
Insulation Layer:
The primary insulating material is epoxy resin, known for its exceptional electrical insulation, mechanical strength, and resistance to chemical corrosion. The epoxy resin insulation layer is formed using advanced casting techniques, creating a seamless bond with the conductor and external shielding layers. This design eliminates voids and impurities, effectively preventing partial discharge and insulation breakdown.
Shielding Layer:
The inner and outer surfaces of the insulation layer are typically equipped with shielding layers, made of metallic foil or conductive coatings. These layers distribute the electric field evenly, reducing field distortions and lowering local field intensity. This improves the bushing's insulation performance and operational reliability while preventing phenomena such as corona discharge.
Sealing Components:
High-performance sealing elements, such as rubber gaskets, are installed at the interface between the bushing and the wall. These seals effectively block moisture, dust, and other contaminants from entering the bushing, ensuring that insulation performance remains unaffected by external environmental factors. Additionally, the sealing components provide firm fixation and vibration damping, further enhancing durability.
