Gas relay, also known as gas relay, is one of the important protection devices for oil-immersed transformers. It is installed in the connecting pipe between the oil tank and the oil pillow of the transformer. It is mainly used to detect abnormal gas or oil flow caused by internal faults of the transformer, thereby protecting the transformer.
Structure and Principle

Gas relays are mainly composed of containers, floats (or open cups), reed contacts, baffles, probes and other components.
The container is the shell of the gas relay, with operating components such as a float or open cup inside.
